The WorkBench is a powerful tool in Specify 6 and 7 for importing and modifying data. Ask questions and discuss with members and Specify staff.

It includes such features as:

- Importing data from CSV, TSV, TXT, XLS, and XLSX files
- Link images to existing records
- Create, view, and edit data in a grid view
- Visualize georeferenced object information in GEOLocate and GeoMap
- Convert geocoordinates into different formats
- Export and reimport data sets while retaining the mapping
