> 📖 This guide explains how you can customize statistics by changing the page refresh time and change preparations to lots/total system in app resources.

To customize statistics head to User Tools, click on [Collection Preferences](https://speciforum.org/t/collection-preferences/3281), then scroll down to the Statistics section

## Show Preparation Totals

By default, the preparation statistics display both lots and totals. However, some collections may prefer to only show the number of lots, as lots/totals do not provide any extra information.
Admins can customize the collection statistics to show only lots by following these steps:

## Auto-Refresh Rate (Hours)

Currently, the statistics page will refresh every 24 hours. The code can support arbitrary time, however, this is currently stored as a collection preference.

Note that `time` is assumed to be in hours. So, put 0.05 if you want it to refresh every 3 minutes. Put 0 to refresh every time.
