# Export and Import a query in Sp 7

Does anyone know how to export a query definition and import it under another user’s name in Specify 7?

Hi @willem,

I just put togther a short guide on how to export and import a query in Specify 7.

You can also share the query URL with another user which will give them a read-only view of the query. They can use the **Save As** function to create a copy on their account!
