# GeoMap Popup Field Selection

Is it possible to modify the fields that appear on the GeoMap popup? There are some fields that I would like to add and remove.

Hi @krandall,

Looking at [specify7/specifyweb/frontend/js\_src/lib/components/Leaflet/config.ts at 5b6a57b4980dcf748ea3daa86d2268994f80fb24 · specify/specify7 · GitHub](https://github.com/specify/specify7/blob/5b6a57b4980dcf748ea3daa86d2268994f80fb24/specifyweb/frontend/js_src/lib/components/Leaflet/config.ts), these fields are hard-coded in. However, there is a comment that suggests these could be configurable down the line.

If you are able to change the category of the post to New Feature Request, then the dev team can consider adding it for addition to a future release! While I wouldn’t say it is the highest priority FR for us, I could definitely see other institutions that use geomap often wanting it!
