This is related to [this post](https://speciforum.org/t/using-the-unique-hidden-ids-in-workbench-import/1839) by @sorosoro, and covered in [this closed issue](https://github.com/specify/specify7/issues/4288).  
I think the solution to this issue would solve that one too!
