# Release Announcement

Specify 7.8.1 is not compatible with Specify 6.8.0; it requires databases to be updated to Specify 6.8.01 or higher. [Instructions on changing the Specify 6 version that Specify 7 uses is available here](https://speciforum.org/t/resolve-specify-7-schema-version-mismatch/884).

Specify 7 is now integrated with [Weblate](https://hosted.weblate.org/projects/specify-7/) - a continuous localization service. This paves the way for supporting dozens of languages in Specify 7. We will be adding Spanish and French localization in near future.
