Hi @Amelie, I am not able to recreate this issue and letters are accepted. ![](https://canada1.discourse-cdn.com/flex029/uploads/specifysoftware/original/2X/7/720ac4b1de2068da8e128802dabfbdf98b9375be.png) We suspect this might be due to a field format on `verbatimElevation` in the Schema, does it have a field format assigned? ---

Hi @Amelie, That’s good news! Are you able to upload now that this has been corrected? It seems probable that the error you were seeing on the verbatim elevation field was due to another problematic field in the mapping and it was being displayed incorrectly. ---

I wasn’t able to upload even though I had no error. I’m pretty sure the problem is my Preptype picklist configuration. I had the exact same problem when I began with Specify. I will check my notes!
